Barnwood and Copper

Finley couldn't resist a good sniff.

After seeing this great DIY table on design sponge, I knew that it wouldn't be long before I made my own.  Days later I found this great barnwood bench at the consignment shop across the street from my home.  I immediately was reminded of my project to-do list, which of course included that copper table I saw on design sponge

I started by sawing off the rather short legs...with the help of my brother.  I first glued the legs in (which I bought at Home Depot for $7 a piece) using Epoxy glue.  Two of the legs held find while the others didn't.  Therefore, I foregoed by DIY skills and took it our handy man Bob.  He screwed those boogers in like nobody's business.  Ch-Yeah!

I finished her off with a good white wash job (just a mixture of white acrylic paint and water)

Loves.
